I am a Freelance Photographer with a special emphasis on Portraiture, Commercial, and Nature photography based in Spring Hill, Tennessee.  Over 25 years ago, I bought my first "real" camera.  It was a Yashica 35mm Film camera with interchangeable lenses.  I was hooked the first time I picked up and browsed through the stack of pictures that just developed in a 1 Hour lab.

Soon after, I enrolled in non-accredited evening photography courses at the University of South Alabama.  It became more and more apparent to me that photography was my God-given calling.  I was a serious hobbyist for several years, even submitting three photos in a contest where two earned awards.  One of the two won the highest award in its class and category.

I put pursuing my photography passion on hold while raising our daughter as a stay-at-home wife and mom.  This current season of my life allows me to explore opportunities and grow my passion into a business where I can love what I do, and provide a fun service experience for my clients.  I take time to find out what kind of portraits clients are looking for in their session.  I try to get to know them, (their personality, interests, tastes in portrait styles such as casual/country/rustic or dressy/city/metropolitan, school activities or hobbies such as sports or band, themes, etc., location types) and I tailor the session to the client's liking.  Each person or family is unique, and as such, deserves a client experience as unique as they are.  I also want the experience to be fun and memorable.  The common themes I often hear from all my clients are #1, how much fun they are having during the portrait session, and #2, how pleased they were with how great they looked in their portraits!  As a matter of fact, I have been told by multiple clients that their portraits by me were the best they've ever had taken of their child or themself.  That is the highest compliment anyone can ever pay me and I consider it an honor.

As I see it, I'm having the time of my life.  When you know you are in the center of God's will for your life and He has called and equipped you for a particular calling, everything falls naturally into place and you love what you do.  I am living out God's calling on my life.  Do what you love, love what you do.  God is good!  He has gifted me with creativity and a passion to capture beauty in the world and in the hearts of people as reflected in their faces.  I would be honored to capture this special time in the life of your teen or college student in portraits, as well as your family.
